Police are trying to trace a woman after another woman, in her 20s, suffered a head injury in an “altercation” outside a bar in south-east London.

Paramedics and police officers were called to the scene in Broadway, Bexleyheath, around 11.15pm on December 16.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to her head injury.

Police investigating the assault on Tuesday released CCTV footage of a woman they would like to identify as part of their investigation.

Detective Constable Georgia Fair of the South East Command Unit said: “I am appealing to anyone who recognises the woman shown in this footage to get in contact.

“I am also appealing to anyone who was in the area around the Broadway, Bexleyheath on the night of the 16 December and witnessed this incident to get in touch.”

There have been no arrests and police continue to investigate the incident.
