A body has been found in the search for a missing 23-year-old woman from south-east London.

Zoe Degraag went missing from her home in Plumstead two weeks ago. The last known sighting was in Erith, Bexley, on November 28.

Scotland Yard launched a desperate appeal to find her, with officers reporting being "increasingly concerned" for her welfare.

On Saturday, the force said the young woman's family had been informed of a body being found in Swanscombe, Kent.

A spokeswoman said it had yet to be identified. At this stage the death is not thought to be suspicious.

A post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.
