Design lovers can pick up a bargain at The Sample Sale, a new concept which turns Bloomsbury's Victoria House into a shopping destination. Curated by the team behind designjunction, an eclectic selection of contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories brands are offering items at special prices during the three day pop-up.
Taking place from March 4-6, some of the products are discounted by as much as 70 per cent. Here are some of the discounts to look out for, including limited edition Star Buys:
Tom Dixon: Star Buys include the Flood Chrome Pendant reduced to £55 on March 5 and the beautiful Cell Tealight Holders reduced to £10 each on March 6.
Moroso: Up to 50 per cent off sofas and seating throughout the weekend.
Ligne Roset: the Facett Armchair reduced to £1449 on March 4 and the Togo Fireside Chair to £779 on March 5.
Vitamin: The Ninetey Stool is available in Ash and Oak finishes, in a variety of colours (£210), whilst the ceramic K Lamp features in the brand’s Star Buy offering a 30 per cent reduction (£154).
Innermost: The fun HiHo Chair will be on offer with 60 per cent off, bringing the price point down to £600, while the Poke Chairs are featured as one of the Star Buys for just £39 on March 5.
LSA International: Mouth blown Devoré Champagne Saucers are reduced to £20 per pair for the brand’s Star Buy on March 6.
Decode: the colourful Play Table is on sale for £450 on March 4 and the Cutaway Stool for £100 on March 6.
Adventures in Furniture: The European company's Gate Dusk Table is reduced by £200 and the seamlessly extending Bianco II Table is reduced by £300.
Case Furniture: the extending dining room furniture, with the solid oak Bridge Table, is half price at £650.
Another Country: 30 per cent off ex-display samples of the Another Chair (£326 each).
In addition, designjunction will be contributing limited edition pieces from its own furniture collections on sale in the Marketplace. Commissioned for the show’s London edition in 2015, these furniture pieces feature textile designs from Transport for London (TFL) including the PLC Dining Chairs (reduced from £439 to £150), Bespoke Benches (£150) and AJWells Tables (reduced from £450 to £195).
