There's a support group for 'Instagram husbands' of selfie-obsessed women

If you are, or know of, a couple that strive for that perfect selfie, ‘breezy’ holiday snap or trendy foodstagram, you might relate to the hilarious anecdotes in this spoof video.

A two-minute ad has been created to advertise a support group for men who are forced to constantly take pictures of their wives and girlfriends for Instagram.

"We used to eat our food, now we just take pictures of it" says Trey, who identifies as an Instagram husband.

He complains in the viral video that he’s had to delete all the apps of his phone, just to make room for more photos for his girlfriend's Instagram account.

“Behind every cute girl on Instagram is a guy like me… and a brick wall,” says Jeff, who has encountered similar issues with his demanding spouse.

“My job is to make her look good,” he continues, “I’m basically a human selfie stick”

Last year for Christmas I actually got her a selfie stick and then she got mad at me because she thought I was just trying to get out of taking photos,” he says. “Of course I’m trying to get out of taking your f—ing photo.”

Some of these Instagram husbands claim to be thrilled about their duties—which include snapping pictures of their girlfriends, helping choreograph the perfect shots, and commenting on every upload.

But for men out there who are feeling worn out by their gruelling photography duties, don’t worry - because help is available.

"If you or someone you know is an Instagram husband, help is out there," the video narrative says.

"Go to InstagramHusband.com and see how millions of men just like you have found hope."

At last, the support long-suffering boyfriends have been waiting for.
