Peruvian Connection has opened in Chelsea.

The clothing brand, which specialises in luxurious Peruvian fibres, alpaca wool and pima cotton, has come to the Kings Road for its first UK store.

There are six Peruvian Connection shops in USA and each one places an emphasis on space-specific concepting and design led by owner Annie Hurlbut.

The London store follows suit, with Belle Époque Victorian décor that includes period lighting, smoke-aged wallpapers, weathered wood flooring and an ethnographer's collection of Andean photos and curiosities.

It is a study in texture, layering and authenticity, much like the brand’s signature textiles.
