WHERE I'VE BEEN HANGING OUT: HUNTER GATHER PARTY

This week I went to the Hunter Gather x James Dawe event in London for the latest in its series of artist-led fashion initiatives in which it teamed with illustrator extraordinaire James Dawe to create BRAVE. Taking Edward Curtis’s legendary portraits of American Indians as its starting point, BRAVE is a celebration of the extraordinary iconography of Comanche culture, a totem that dares to stand up in the flat world of fashion. I have been working with them on a five-part T-shirt series, which I have featured on my blog, Proudlock Style (proudlockstyle.com).

LOOK OF THE WEEK: JOSH TOKO

My Look of the Week comes from the Hunter Gather party, and goes to Josh Toko, pictured here with me. His outfit is effortlessly cool and I've been a fan of how he dresses for a while now. He keeps it simple by not wearing loads of accessories or additional items, but he has the most amazing eye for throwing pieces together.

A BRAND I LOVE: DIESEL

I have done a style takeover on my blog, focusing on Diesel's new range of Jogg Jeans, which look exactly like jeans, but are actually tracksuit material. They are the most comfortable trousers ever but stylish, too. The photos for this were taken by Blaow.

MUST HAVE PRODUCT: SUN WARRIOR PROTEIN

Sun Warrior protein, vanilla flavour, is better and healthier than any product I have ever used before. I have just undertaken a health and fitness challenge in conjunction with Men's Health. I spent 12 weeks training to completely change my body, adding substantial muscle and bulk. You can see from the picture how drastic the change has been! It was incredibly draining, and a huge commitment but it was definitely worth it and taught me a lot about my own limits - and my ability to surpass them. As I thought the transformation was so significant, I decided to collaborate with trainer Nick Mitchell to put together a 12-week plan for people with my body type, helping them to understand the changes they can make, even if they have a smaller frame. The book will be on Amazon from next week, and I am super-excited about it.

WORTH A VISIT: THE BUTLER

I watched The Butler at the cinema, an amazing true story with outstanding performance from both Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey.

TUNE INTO: BASTILLE

My track of the week is Bastille's Of the Night.
