David Williams: ring makes tyre jobs a breeze

Handy: Ring's RAC635

It’s one thing having the right tyres on your car, but they’re no good if they’re not at the right pressure, which is where Ring’s handy new air compressor comes in.

The 12 volt device is particularly good for two reasons: it incorporates a torch light, so that you can see what you are doing when it’s dark, and has a digital readout, which can be pre-set to the correct pressure. You connect it to your car’s power socket and set it, allowing it to stop automatically when your tyre reaches the correct pressure.

The £34.99 RAC635 measures in PSI, Bar and KPA. More at ringautomotive.co.uk
