I've always believed that jewellery should be personal, layered and true to your style.

I've loved it since I was really young and have been collecting little pieces for many years.

Often I hear from my #AnineBingGirls that they would like advice on how to layer their accessories.

For me it just comes down to what is easy, cool and not too precious to wear daily because I literally never take off my jewellery.

If you are just getting started finding your style, here is my advice on which pieces to invest in, how to layer them and why you really can't go wrong wearing too many pieces at once.

The four jewellery pieces every woman can wear daily:

Dainty Gold Necklaces

Buy a few, wear them forever. At any given time I always have on two to three pretty gold necklaces from my collection. I love the look of them layered up and I like to mix and match different types of chains. Gold is always an investment and one I think women should make because a necklace dresses up every outfit.

Hoop Earrings

Hoop earrings can be smart, pretty, or edgy and because I don't wear statement earrings, they're what I layer with all of my diamond studs. To me, the key to hoops is the size. I like them small and mid size, and (almost) always in gold.

A Little Texture Goes A Long Way

Texture is a really easy way to make your jewellery feel updated. Try necklaces with different chains to vary up your day-to-evening style. Different shapes and sizes of stones or pendants always make jewellery styling easier. Key pieces are worth the investment.

Rings, Stack Them Up

I wear a lot of rings and I stack all of them without overthinking if they go together. The more different the rings, the easier it is to stack them. I wear statement rings with dainty rings, and I even stack my wedding rings amongst other rings from my collection. For me, the less matching they are, the better. Mix metals, mix stones, and don't save precious pieces for special occasions. Pretty jewellery should be out and about every day. Life is too short to wait for the right moment to wear something special.
