Royal Ascot is a favourite among many celebrities and - of course - the Royal Family. With its reputation for guests competing subliminally for not only the biggest and brightest hats available but also the most show-stopping outfits, it is unsurprising that every year the event photos are a feast for the eyes.

Kicking off on Tuesday and going through to Saturday, the annual event attracts recognisable names from all walks of celeb-dom.

From British Olympic heptathlete Denise Lewis to Fashion Editor Martha Ward, with fleeting appearances from powerhouse broadcasting duo Ant and Dec alongside their wife and fiancée respectively, the Ascot races welcomes around 300,000 guests a year.

With 51,000 bottles of champagne on ice, 2,900 lobsters on order and 160,000 glasses of Pimms at the ready, as well as a predicted £5.5 million in prize money to be won, Ascot attendees are set for a fun few days.

Here is the best of celebrity style from this year's event.
