The Duchess of Sussex has joined her sister-in-law the Duchess of Cambridge at Wimbledon for the women’s final today, which sees Serena Williams face Simona Halep.

Kate, who is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, arrived first wearing her short-sleeved emerald green Dolce and Gabbana dress with gold buttons and a bow detail – a recycled number she first debuted back in 2016 while on a royal visit to Canada. She accessorised her look with a pair of gold hoops, nude heels and a cream leather handbag, and wore her hair in immaculate waves.

Meanwhile Meghan, who is currently on maternity leave but is cheering on her close pal Serena Williams, opted for a crisp white shirt and pleated skirt by Hugo Boss adorned with a blue and black pattern. She wore her hair pulled back in a ponytail which showed off her turquoise stud earrings from her friend Jennifer Meyer’s jewellery line.

The pair sat next to one another in the royal box, where they were also joined by Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton.

Both have attended this year's tournament before. Kate aced her first appearance at the tennis tournament on day two, wearing a white midi shirt dress by Suzannah, which she finished with a wicker Alexander McQueen bag.

A few days later, Meghan made a surprise appearance on day four of the tournament to watch Serena beat Slovakia's Kaja Juvan during the women's singles second round.

Opting for a laid back look, she donned a white blazer, skinny jeans and panama hat and wore a dainty necklace with the letter 'A' on it by Australian jeweller Emma Swann, paying a sweet tribute to her son Archie.
