Flash Tattoos – temporary tattoos inspired by jewellery – have recently been seen being worn by fashionista Beyoncé and American actress Katie Holmes, and we can see why these may become a hot new trend for this fall.

Dawson’s Creek actress Holmes was seen having a long gold design applied to the back of her neck at a New York Fashion Week event sponsored by Old Navy. Katie looked excited during the application, with another gold tat showing on her left forearm, and proved that these striking designs aren’t just for flashing on the beach.

Drunk in Love singer Beyoncé was in Portofino, Italy on holiday with her husband Jay Z when she was spotted wearing Flash Tattoos – one on her hip bone, a few on her arms in the shape of bracelets and another on her neck. These looked fabulous completing her bikini top and split skirt outfit.

The 33-year-old singer had also posted two pictures of herself on Instagram sporting Flash Tattoos in different designs – and boy, does she know how to work them!

These blinged-out designs come in silver, gold and black and are made to look like real jewellery, such as bracelets, necklaces, rings and anklets.

Other celebrities who have been seen wearing these shimmering tattoos include Jessica Alba and Vanessa Hudgens.

The stylish pain-free body art, which lasts between 4-6 days, is currently sold out on Forever 21 and is available at flashtat.com and childofwild.com.
