Burberry cast Dylan Brosnan alongside twins Ruth and May Bell in latest campaign featuring biggest British models of the moment

The campaign highlights the breadth of the brand’s newest ready-to-wear and accessories collections

Despite a reputation for timeless, classic campaigns, Burberry have begun to take on an edgier aesthetic in recent seasons.

For autumn/winter, the brand captured the look of cool young Brits with the help of musician Tom Odell, actress Clara Paget - who followed in the footsteps of her parents' appearance in a campaign for the brand in 2007 - and Keith Richards's granddaughter Ella.

Having since appeared in a campaign for Topshop and conducted a number of interviews, Ella Richards acts as proof of Christopher Bailey's knack for discovering emerging talent.

Tuning into this for spring/summer, Bailey has hand-picked an all-British cast of 11 newcomers who each star in a Burberry campaign for their first time and whose – according to the brand – ‘collective energy and attitude reflect the overall aesthetic and mood for the new season’.

The cast of models includes Hayett Belarbi McCarthy and Bella Yentob - who both walked in the brand’s spring/summer 2016 show - as well as Ruth Bell, May Bell, Dylan Brosnan, Eliza Fairbanks, Liam Gardner, Sol Goss, Ben Gregory, Misha Hart and Louie Johnson.

The spring/summer campaign - which consists of an unprecedented 40 images captured by world-renowned photographer Mario Testino - was shot on the same set as Burberry’s innovative Snapchat campaign which was released on the brand’s own Snapchat platform in October, with a series of images and accompanying videos giving teasers of the new line.

The Snapchat campaign was live for just 24 hours, and made Burberry the first brand to ever shoot and publish its advertising campaign live.
