Maya Jama and Dua Lipa led the best dressed stars on the red carpet as the 38th annual edition of the BRIT awards kicked off in celebration of the best in music from Britain and around the world.

The awards, known for celebrating the best of UK and global music, produces an array of OTT outfits every year.

From Geri Halliwell's now-infamous Union Jack dress worn in 1997 to the sparkly silver wig worn by Cher in 1999, the occasion annually provides a major moment in the fashion calendar.

Stormzy's girlfriend Maya Jama, who hosted a Facebook live of the event alongside Professor Green, looked super sharp in a pink glittery coat dress by Henry Holland which she paired with metallic pink flower-embellished sandals.
