Britain’s two most famous redheads have teased a surprise collaboration, with Prince Harry sharing a video of himself meeting Ed Sheeran on the official Sussexroyal Instagram account.

In the video, Sheeran is seen approaching a front door and ringing the bell. Eventually, the door is opened to reveal Prince Harry himself standing there before he greets Sheeran with a handshake.

Sheeran then gestures over his shoulder to the camera crew and asks, “Do you mind if I bring the camera in?”

Prince Harry then waves them in and said, “Yeah, of course, come on in guys.”

The video then ends with a black screen with the words, “Tomorrow 10th October.”

It is not currently known what Prince Harry and Ed Sheeran are working on together, however the clip appeared to tease an intimate look inside what could be his and Meghan Markle’s home Frogmore Cottage. Sheeran has not revealed any further information about the project on his personal social media.

Royal reporter Omid Scobie might have dropped a hint about the project. Scobie shared a video of it on his Twitter, along with the hashtag #WorldMentalHealthDay - suggesting that it could be tied to a mental health awareness initiative.

While Sheeran and the royal are not known to be friends, the pair have definitely been mistaken for one another in the past. Ahead of the 2018 nuptials to Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s face was mistakenly swapped for Ed Sheeran’s on a commemorative royal wedding plate on Etsy.
