While eating fresh lobster in a London restaurant may be perceived as a luxury for the few, Belgo are serving up a treat for seafood lovers and first-timers alike, offering a choice of dishes for a fixed price of just £15.95.

Each year the Lobster Festival has grown in size due to customer demand and for 2004 Belgo anticipate serving up to 10,000 until the offer closes in July.

In order to provide fresh, live lobster on such an unprecedented scale, it is flown over on a daily basis from its source in Nova Scotia, Canada, making it the biggest ever import of lobster to one destination. Following its arrival in the UK the lobster is delivered immediately to the following Belgo kitchens where the chefs guarantee a warm welcome:

Belgo Centraal: 50 Earlham Street/29b Shelton Street, Covent Garden, WC2; Belgo Noord: 72 Chalk Farm Road, Chalk Farm, NW1. Bierodrome: 67 Kingsway, London, WC2; 44-48 Clapham High Street, Clapham, London, SW4; 173-174 Upper Street, Islington, London, N1
