Vauxhall backs London Olympic bid

Car giant Vauxhall has thrown its weight behind Britain's bid to host the Olympics in 2012 and called on the public to do all they could to help.

The motor manufacturer became one of the first companies in the country to voice strong support for the attempt to bring the Games to London.

Vauxhall placed a series of adverts in national newspapers today in the form of a letter to Barbara Cassani, who is leading the official London 2012 group.
