Trader Balli faces lawsuit

BALLI, the commodities trader where ex-Chancellor Norman Lamont is a director, is facing a lawsuit after more than £80m went missing from a former subsidiary. Balli had agreed to repay cash and compensation to the former division, German distributor Kloeckner, but settlement talks have collapsed.
