Top chefs to cook for London Eye guests

12 April 2012

Six top chefs are to cook a meal for 10 members of the public on the London Eye as part of a festival to celebrate the capital's restaurants.

Gordon Ramsay is one of the six hosting one-off dinners in a pod of the wheel each night of the London Restaurant Festival next month.

Other chefs include Richard Corrigan of Corrigans in Mayfair and Endo San from Hakkasan.

Tickets will be sold at an auction for Action Against Hunger and children's charity Starlight on 26 September.

Other events during the week-long celebration, billed as London's "foodie" answer to the Edinburgh festival, include a "pop-up" restaurant on the roof of Selfridges, run by chef Pierre Koffman.

Throughout the festival, hundreds of restaurants across the capital will offer discount menus at lunch and dinner.
