A bridal dress Claudia Schiffer modelled for Valentino in 1995 bears a strong resemblance to the ivory silk gown, with a five-yard train, he has made for her wedding to film producer Matthew Vaughn, 31.
The exact design is a secret, with the designer's team signing contracts barring them from revealing any detail.
When the 31-year-old bride tried on her dress, close friend Valentino told her: "In all the years we have worked together I've never seen you looking this radiant."
The £100,000 wedding will be in a church near Bury St Edmunds.
