Sven and Chelsea?

Sven Goran Eriksson has been spotted visiting Chelsea's new Russian owner Roman Abramovich.

He has put out a statement insisting that he is committed to remaining as England's manager.

When Eriksson cheated on his live-in girlfriend Nancy dell'Olio with Ulrika Jonsson, Nancy saw off the opposition convincingly and hung on to her man.

If there is to be a battle of the chequebooks with the Russian over Eriksson, we doubt that the Football Association will show the same form.
