Ed Harris13 April 2012

LINDA Lusardi dialled 999 and asked if it she could use the hard shoulder on the M25 after a traffic jam threatened to make her late for her pantomime performance, it is reported today.

The former topless model hoped to bypass the queues to make it the Swan Theatre in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, where she is appearing as the Wicked Queen in Snow White, according to the Daily Mail.

But she was told by the emergency service: "Oh no you don't."

The actress was told her request was "absolutely inappropriate" and that she must wait in the traffic, just like every other driver.

It reportedly happened on Saturday as the 50-year-old actress travelled to the theatre with husband Sam Kane and daughter Lucy, who are also in the show. They arrived half an hour late.

The cast made jokes about their late arrival during the performance, according to a source.
