Caroline Deakin, 25, is a secondary school teacher in Ealing.

She welcomed the news of more cash for key workers, saying it will help thousands of people like her.

She bought a £190,000 one-bedroom flat in Olympia under a previous scheme. She was entitled to a £115,000 key worker loan but will have to pay it all back when she sells - and she is also paying £275 a month in "rent" to the Government on top of her £428-a-month mortgage repayments.

"I was very lucky to get my flat." she said.
