London man is arrested in Ibiza over rape claim

A Londoner has been arrested after a 15-year-old British girl told police she was raped on a beach in Ibiza.

The 31-year-old man was held after allegedly forcing himself on the teenager, who was on holiday with her parents in Porte de Sant Miquel.

The girl and her parents were staying in the same hotel as the suspect. Local media reported that the parents left the girl with the man after they had had a drink together, and a police source said he later allegedly took her to the beach and raped her.

When she returned to the hotel her parents saw she was distressed and called police.
