KLM takes axe to 3,000 jobs

MORE job cuts loom at struggling Dutch airline KLM, hit by the war on Iraq and the Sars virus. Chief executive Leo van Wijk said KLM was cutting 3,000 jobs and could not rule out further redundancies. KLM lost £298m last year, worse than analysts expected.
