I'm staying with Wasps, says Reddan

Staying put: Eoin Reddan will continue playing for Wasps next season
12 April 2012

Ireland's Eoin Reddan today ended speculation over his club future by declaring he will remain at London Wasps next season.

The 27-year-old scrum-half, man of the match in the 16-11 Six Nations victory over Italy, has been linked with Leinster.

But Reddan credits Wasps for his development into a genuine Test half-back and said: "I'm staying at Wasps. I don't know why it has become such an issue.

"Things are working for me at Wasps so there's no point in breaking something that is fixed.

"There are some very good teams in Ireland but whatever is happening at Wasps is making me play well. There are no regrets about the move to England.

"I joined Wasps from Munster in 2005 and back then I was a completely different player.

"I've learned so much at Wasps. You keep on working on things and I have been fortunate in having good coaches around me."
