Footballer Marlon King charged with sexual assault

Premiership striker Marlon King was today charged with sexual assault and punching a woman in a Soho bar.

The Middlesbrough star, 28, was charged at a central London police station over the alleged attack at the Revue Bar in December.

The victim, 20, suffered a broken nose and cut lip. King is due to appear at Westminster magistrates' court on 25 February.
