FirstGroup faces ScotRail watchdog

THE refranchising of the ScotRail train network looks set to be delayed after the Competition Commission launched an investigation into the shortlisting of FirstGroup by the Strategic Rail Authority.

The Commission has competition worries about FirstGroup's bid because of its dominance of the Scottish bus market.
