Britney imposes 'stalker' order

12 April 2012

Britney Spears has asked to have a restraining order imposed on a 41-year-old Japanese man she claims has been stalking her since September.

A petition filed in court yesterday says Masahiko Shizawa, of Yokohama, has "tracked and attempted to contact" Spears at her home in Los Angeles and at other homes in California.

Spears's lawyer, Joel Strote has asked to have Shizawa barred from coming within 1,000 feet of the 21-year-old singer and from contacting her.
