Becks and me: the truth
The woman at the centre of the David Beckham affair today used an extraordinary television interview to declare publicly she was telling the truth.
Former PA Rebecca Loos insisted she felt no shame and had spoken out because she "could not live a lie".
She went on to say that her mother warned of the dangers of getting involved with a married man.
"I was very aware of what I was getting myself into but just couldn't stop it."
Speaking to Sky television, which has paid her a six-figure sum, the 25-year-old said: "I am 100 per cent sure of what I'm talking about. There's no doubt in my mind. I have no reason to lie. Why should I?"
She added: "At the end of the day these are the facts, this is what happened-It was wrong and I was wrong to have done what I did, I know that.
"But it did happen and I'm not going to live a lie for the rest of my life."
Ms Loos claims she had sex with Beckham on four occasions during September and December last year.
Beckham, 28, who first met Ms Loos after signing for Real Madrid in a £25 million move from Manchester United, has strongly denied the accusations.
When the story broke 10 days ago Beckham described Ms Loos's allegations as "ludicrous" and insisted that he was "very happily married".
In her interview, to be screened on Sky One tomorrow night, Miss Loos said she was left feeling "breathless" and "very happy" after spending several hours in Beckham's hotel room.
