Alex cleans up in £1m ad campaign
Hygiene-obsessed Big Brother star Alex Sibley is on a £1 million mission to destroy all known germs dead - as the new face of Domestos.
The 23-year-old model, who came third in the Channel 4 reality show, will appear in a series of TV ads for the bleach brand.
Alex soon earned a reputation on the show for his love of cleanliness after reacting with outrage when he heard housemate Jonny Regan had urinated in the shower.
The seven-figure Domestos campaign will poke fun at his love of cleaning. In one of the ads he is featured singing That's The Way I Like It - a song to which he famously mimed during the show.
"Some of the hygiene standards in the house were disgusting and that did annoy me," he said.
"I didn't appreciate the levels of poor hygiene displayed by some of my housemates."
Brand manager for Domestos, Amita Simons, said: "Following the Weegate scandal we had our eyes firmly on Alex - he and Domestos are the perfect match.
"We are expecting a tremendous sales uplift as a result."Alex could pick up a hefty sum for product deals over the coming months with Brylcreem keen to sign him up.
The company was lining up a lucrative deal even before he came out of the house nearly a fortnight ago.
