The London Seafood Festival will return to Battersea Power Station this summer, with Vivek Singh and Asma Khan the first chefs confirmed in the line-up of events.

Singh, of renowned Indian restaurants The Cinnamon Club and the Cinnamon Collection group, will host a seafood-centric dinner on June 14 at his restaurant Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea.

Darjeeling Express chef and Chef’s Table star Khan will join him as a special guest in the kitchen, and the pair will take part in a Q&A session after the meal.

“Asma and I are incredibly excited to collaborate on a fantastic Indian feasting menu at Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea for London Seafood Festival this June,” said Singh.

“It has always been a joy to cook with Asma over the years and we’re looking forward to bringing the London community together at Battersea Power Station to celebrate the city’s diverse dining scene.”

Tickets for the feasting dinner will go on sale next month, with pricing details yet to be confirmed.

The festival, now in its second year, will run at Battersea Power Station from June 12-16, and will feature a programme of kitchen takeovers, ticketed dinners, chef masterclasses and special menus at local restaurants.

From Friday to Sunday, the festival will also host live music, street food stalls and live cooking demonstrations. Family friendly entertainment will also include performances from the St Ives Mermaid and Miss Ballooniverse, face painting and a four-metre-high inflatable Ocho the Octopus sculpture.

The inaugural 2018 festival attracted more than 25,000 visitors to the Circus West Village area.
