Healthy carbs: Canvas Cafe is giving away cake to celebrate Veganuary
Luke Abrahams2 January 2018

While you're all still probably recovering from your NYE comas, resist the temptation of ordering a dirty burger and hold onto the Veganuary dream a little longer because a Brick Lane cafe is giving away free cake this weekend.

To celebrate Veganuary, Canvas has turned 100 per cent animal cruelty-free and every customer who pops in on Saturday January 6 and Sunday January 7 will get a free cake.

The Hanbury Street favourite will also be running a series of workshops to help people who have recently joined the global vegan movement.

That means cookery and dairy-free cheese making classes as well as free weekly film screenings although, let's face it, the major sell really is free cake.

42 Hanbury Street, London, E1 5JL. For more information visit the Canvas Cafe website
