  • Mijori is an old-established and quietly comfortable Korean restaurant that does steady business. Good value pricing and an unintimidating atmosphere make it a good place to try the more obscure dishes. Mijori, 41 Churchfield Road, W3 (020-8896 0202)
  • L'Oriental is a small and busy Lebanese restaurant. Its proud boast is 'authentic home-made cooking', and so it is. A good range of meze and the usual array of dishes from the charcoal grill. Accessible pricing. L'Oriental, 94 Churchfield Road, W3 (020-8993 3335)
  • The Acorn Deli is very much a period piece. This is a 'Polski Sklep' and offers all manner of Polish deli items, from gnarled pickled cucumbers to jars of borscht. Acorn Deli, 112 Churchfield Road, W3 (020-8992 2055)
