Don't mind the neighbours

10 April 2012

We always used to avoid Taylors in Streatham for two reasons: - it's located next door to the "Worst Pub In The World" and Taylors itself used to be an O'Neill's.

However, a recent mini-refurb tempted us to cross the threshold once again, and we have to say, we have missed a pretty decent boozer.

It's true that you won't find any real ales here, but we made do the last time with a decent Guinness.

There is a good food menu and servings are very generous - we couldn't finish our meal as there was so much on the plate, and it's well priced too.

Staff are friendly, service is fine. Only downside is that the pub is quite dark and gets very smokey (albeit not for much longer).

All in all, it's one of Streatham's better venues now, and it's just a shame (or an advantage) that it is next to Streatham's worst pub.
