Thorpe Park announce new Halloween fright nights featuring 'Katie Hopkins'

Thrill-seekers will be terrified by staff dressed as Katie Hopkins chasing them around darkened rooms

Thorpe Park have announced arguably their most terrifying series of Halloween fright nights to date: cold, dark evenings with the ever-unpopular Katie Hopkins.

However, rather than being forced to endure readings of her controversial columns, thrill-seekers will find themselves in a pitch-black maze watching out for figures dressed as the ex-Apprentice star – complete with Spitting Image-style Hopkins masks and lashings of pearls – who will jump out to terrify guests.

It comes as part of new Thorpe Park launch Containment, a installation designed to play on common fears including claustrophobia, the dark, the dentist, personal space intrusion and, er, TV presenters.

Visitors will be locked in a series of four different chambers – and may find reality nightmare Katie ‘Horror’ Hopkins in there with them.

It has yet to be confirmed whether the Thorpe Park caricatures of Hopkins will be expressing her frightening views.

A limited run of the Hopkins masks will also be available for sale.

The Halloween Fright Nights run from Friday October 9 October until November 1, 3pm -10pm.
