Record Store Day is quickly approaching, which means it’s nearly time to set your alarm early so you have your chance to get hold of some rare records on Saturday April 16.

You can expect large queues outside the majority of record shops as they partake in the global celebration for independent record shops.

Don’t forget that all Record Store Day releases are limited edition, so expect similar crowds to the notorious Black Friday rush, so get down to your chosen store early to avoid disappointment.

You can even travel between record shops in hope that you get what you’re looking for. Some of this year’s releases include limited releases from Ezra Furman, Roots Manuva, Foals, Mac DeMarco, METZ, Nirvana, Slaves, Bob Dylan and more.

Not only is there an endless list of limited edition records to get your hands on, record shops across London will be hosting live performances through to the evening too.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a vinyl-fanatic or a collectable-hoarder, because you can experience a mixture of great live music, great in-store venues and the best selection of vinyl around.
