Returning for its third year the Greenwich Comedy Festival, kicking off on September 5, promises to be an unforgettable week.

Set up by Will and Cass Briggs, step sons of the late Malcolm Hardee - a legendary comedy guru, the festival is set to be bigger and better than ever before.

This year Greenwich is showcasing some great talent including Tim Minchin, Milton Jones, Omid Djalili, Sean Lock and Rich Hall.

Last year the festival attracted twenty thousand comedy fans and this year the Briggs brothers hope to further increase the audience.

The Old Royal Naval College is being transformed once again to host this event with live music, bars and food stalls.

So those who can't make Edinburgh Fringe have an excellent London alternative.

Tickets start from £15 www.greenwichcomedyfestival.co.uk
