A bouncy castle just for adults has popped up on Southbank

Get out your seats and jump around, jump, jump, jump, jump... all in the name of a PR stunt

It’s time to get in touch with your inner child – or rather, make them giddy with glee and leave them feeling just a little bit sick, because a giant adults only bouncy castle has arrived in London, puffed up and looking majestic by Tower Bridge.

The castle, which is seven metres high and eleven metres wide, is free for adults and will be entertaining big kids until March 5.

Nicknamed Bouncingham Castle (bravo, PR people), it’s part of a promo stunt for Candy Crush Jelly Saga, which explains why it appears to have been built out of hundreds of blocks of jelly, and has the faint whiff of raspberries. It also emits a range of sounds as jumpers bounce around – and they’re keen on competitive jumping, offering prizes to the best bouncers.

Acrobatic types who fancy themselves as champions of the castle will face off against the Jelly Queen, which is as unthreatening name for a nemsis as we’ve ever heard.

The event was launched by former singer and, er, Candy Crush fan Alesha Dixon.

Find the castle at 2 More London Riverside, SE1 2JP (outside City Hall, by Tower Bridge). It runs from today, Thursday March 3, until Saturday March 5, 10am-8pm weekdays, 10am-6pm weekends. It's free, open to anyone over 16.
