It’s the outcome nobody will be shocked at. Jack and Dani, or ‘Jani’, are the odds on favourites to be crowned Love Island 2018 champions.

The loved up duo have remained the bookies favourites to take the title ever since they first coupled up on day one.

Despite a blip when Jack’s ex Ellie Jones was thrown in and a wobble over a dodgy lie detector response the pair have been rock solid.

They currently have odds of 1/18 to follow in the footsteps of last year’s winners Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay.

Last place: Wes and Megan don't look to have any chance of being crowned winners

Betfair Spokesperson Katie Baylis said: “After weeks of cracking on, head turning, mugging off and being pied, it’s finally time for the nation to find out who will be crowned Love Island champions. But unless there is one of the biggest shocks in TV history, Jack and Dani are a shoe in to win and are huge odds-on favourites at 1/18.”

Despite only coupling up less than two weeks ago – after Jack Fowler chose to hook up with Laura Crane – Laura and Paul are the second favourites with odds of 15/2. Josh and Kaz are placed at 14/1 while Wes and Megan look set to come last with odds of 16/1.

Bayliss said: “[The other couples] appear to have no chance, barring a massive twist and it looks like Jani will be waltzing off into the sunset as winners.”

Jani has won over a legion of fans, including Margot Robbie, Paris Hilton and Stormzy.

Dr Alex George and Alexandra Cane fell at the last hurdle after receiving the fewest public votes ahead of Sunday night’s dumping.

The winning couple will win £50,000 but will have the chance to split or keep the money.

If one person opts to keep they will take home the full prize fund. It is assumed if they both keep they will both go home empty handed.
