The X Factor wasn’t messing about when the live shows began last weekend – at the beginning of Sunday’s show, host Olly Murs revealed that a double-elimination would take place.

Well, buckle up because it’s about to happen all over again – yes, two more acts will be leaving in the second round of live shows.

The news was confirmed by judge Nick Grimshaw in an interview with Xtra Factor hosts Melvin Odoom and Rochelle Humes.

When asked if another double elimination would be taking place, Grimshaw replied: ‘Of course’.

The first elimination saw Overs singer Bupsi and group Alien Uncovered leave the show. Bupsi received the lowest number of public votes, meaning that she was immediately eliminated, while Alien Uncovered did not survive the sing-off against Keira Weathers.
