The Voice is back for another round of hopefuls bidding to trade their day jobs for a career in the music industry.

Stepping into week three Sir Tom Jones has four hopefuls on his team, Olly Murs and Jennifer Hudson both have three contestants each and Will.i.am retains his streak of keeping the numbers low with just two contestants.

From tear-jerking performances to concert-ready singers, this week proved The Voice is far from done with delivering stellar talent.

Here are the must-see auditions from episode three of the blind auditions.

Christina Ellinas

Connection: Ellinas boasted over her connection with Will.i.am
ITV

Former air hostess Ellinas stole the show with her controlled performance of Sigala and Paloma Faith’s hit record Lullaby.

The 27-year-old cruised her way through the high notes and earned the approval of Sir Tom.

However, Ellinas also revealed she had a connection with will.i.am, having previously served him in the first class lounge.

The connection evidently proved strong as Ellinas joined Team Will on the back of her three-turn performance.

Luke Swatman

GMB: Swatman went viral for his performance of Nessun Dorma
ITV

Swatman previously wowed on Good Morning Britain after going viral when he performed Nessun Dorma on the breakfast show.

The 35-year-old brought the same power to the Voice stage, belting out every note out to perfection.

The performance caught the attention of Jennifer Hudson, who praised his incredible vocal ability, and soon after secured Swatman on her team.

Harrisen Larner-Main

Pushing forward: Larner-Main was praised for his 'old soul'
ITV

Self-proclaimed big-kid, Larner-Main spent 11 years of his life gigging in a bid to secure himself a career in music.

Stepping on to the stage, Larner-Main impressed with his gritty rendition of John Hiatt’s Have a Little Faith in Me.

Praised for his “old soul” despite being 25-years-old, Larner-Main earned the respect of both Murs and Hudson gaining him two turns.

In the end, the Weston-super-Mare resident picked Olly Murs to take him through to the next stage of the competition.

Jimmy Balito

Comeback kid: Balito had a point to prove
ITV

Proving he’s the ultimate comeback kid, Balito returned in a bid to seek redemption after he failed to get a turn during his 2018 audition, admitting the rejection “took something out of me.”

Despite questioning why he's putting himself out there again, Balito impressed with his smooth vulnerable vocal on James Vincent McMorrow’s Higher Love.

Fighting for his position in the competition, the Sussex-born 23-year-old showcased his diverse vocal ability dipping in between falsetto and George Ezra-esque vocals.

Taking it down to the last minute, Balito couldn’t believe it when he earned two turns in the last few seconds, resulting in a breakdown on stage.

An emotional Balito ended up choosing Sir Tom after he praised his originality.

Sarah Tucker

Right time: Tucker told how she is ready for the music industry now
ITV

Mortgage broker Sarah Tucker stepped on the Voice stage with hopes to revive the career she couldn’t get started with in her 20s.

The 34-year-old performed a heart-breaking version of Shawn Mendes' hit In My Blood.

Effortlessly manoeuvring her way through the song, despite not having performed in nine years, Tucker left the audience and coaches feeling emotional.

After bagging herself a four-chair turn Tucker secured herself a place on Team J Hud.

The Voice continues Saturday on ITV at 8pm
