Piers Morgan has hit back at claims that he was caught looking at Susanna Reid’s cleavage on Good Morning Britain.
The presenter, 52, was accused of sneaking a peek during Tuesday morning’s show, but insists that he was simply looking over at her notes, claiming he has “full respect” for his co-workers.
Reid showed a tweet from The Sun which read: “Good Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan sneaks a cheeky look at Susanna Reid’s cleavage as he compliments her plunging dress.”
Tired of the claims, Morgan explained: “I do want to take issue with The Sun because they’re very quick off the mark with these kind of things and they repeatedly accuse me of this.
“I am not looking at your cleavage. Here’s the thing, watch. Susanna has notes here, and I take a sneaky peek at Susanna’s notes it looks incriminating. You see?”
He finished: “I have full respect for my co-workers.”
Reid added: “Secondly, it's not a plunging dress.
“Stop reducing women to just their cleavage is what you're saying Piers Morgan.”
Entertainment reporter Richard Arnold attempted to settle the debate by asking guest Big Nartsie where he thought Morgan was looking.
“Where do you think Piers Morgan is looking young man?” he asked the London-born rapper.
Narstie replied: “I love you Piers Morgan. He’s doing both because he’s multi-talented.”
