A brand new love triangle could be on the cards for the latest batch of Love Island contestants.

Tonight’s episode sees newcomer Curtis Pritchard playing the field as he shows an interest in both Amy Hart and Yewande Biala ahead of the all-important recoupling.

Pritchard, who is the younger brother of Strictly Come Dancing pro AJ, entered the villa after the first coupling ceremony alongside Tommy Fury - a move that has already caused some of the girls to reconsider their initial pairings.

The dance pro, who has previously appeared on the Irish version of Dancing with the Stars, has his head turned by scientist Yewande, who is currently coupled up with firefighter Michael, and by Amy, who is paired with Anton (despite him making a play for surfer Lucie).

“I hadn’t actually spoken to Yewande before the challenge so I actually maybe would have liked to have given her a cheeky little peck,” he says in the Beach Hut following the first challenge.

“I think I do fancy him,” Yewande later confesses. “He has amazing eyes and he is really nice.”

Curtis then admits that he feels confused about which girl to pick in tonight’s recoupling, telling Yewande: “I don’t know what I’m going to do because I may have been swayed.”

Meanwhile Amy remains confident that she and Curtis are 100 per cent each others’ type on paper, revealing: “I don’t feel like I have to force anything with Curtis because it’s all so easy so I’m hoping that he picks me.

“But he was just talking to Yewande again. So, I don’t know.”

Curtis and Tommy will have to decide which islander to couple up with later in the show - leaving two male islanders without a partner.

Tommy, the younger brother of boxer Tyson Fury, is also keen on Lucie, admitting: “At the moment the girl I want to pursue is going to be Lucie. She’s a surfer, she goes to the gym. Her body is banging. She has beautiful eyes, a beautiful face, beautiful everything.”

With Lucie already coupled up with Joe, though, Tommy is keeping his options open by pursuing Amber too, telling her: “As it stands right now, it’s fifty-fifty. I’m being honest with you, I don’t know.”

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
