Love Island has confirmed the return of Casa Amor, set to shake up the couples with the ultimate relationship test very soon.

A new batch of singletons will be sent to a second villa, ready to mingle with the original islanders and spice things up – with it rumoured to be the girls moving out this year instead of the boys.

On Wednesday night, ITV2 confirmed that the fan-favourite twist is heading into series five with a cryptic Twitter teaser, showing an illuminated red heart – fashioned like a neon sign – but not giving much else away.

Fans were also convinced that they caught a glimpse of the luxury villa during some scenic shots of the island during last night’s mean tweets challenge.

Love Island lovers have been waiting for the return of Casa Amor ever since it ended last series and become convinced it was imminent after Caroline Flack teased "drama" in a recent interview.

“[This] week is going to be drama week... Drama for me is just the testing of the relationship, so it is good to see,” Flack told Arielle Free and Kem Cetinay on Love Island: The Morning After podcast earlier this week.

“That's the whole point is just testing the relationships. So when I say drama I don't mean screaming and shouting and arguing and that kind of stuff, it's the decisions they have to make, I like all that.”

And Casa Amor is definitely one of the biggest tests the islanders will face, breaking apart a fair few couples over time.

Last year, Georgia Steel was relegated back to the singles bench after Josh Denzel came back from Casa Amor with Kaz Crossley on his arm.

Meanwhile, eventual winners Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham’s relationship was put to the test when Fincham’s ex Ellie Jones arrived in Majorca.

This year, the second villa will prove an obstacle for power couples Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart and Amber Gill and Michael Griffiths to overcome, while Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague will also be assessing the strength of their romance.
