A Love Island Christmas Reunion teaser has finally dropped – and it’s about to get very awkward.

The short snippet shows Sam Bird looking pretty uncomfortable as ex-girlfriend Georgia Steel makes a dramatic entrance to the party.

Bird and Steel left the reality show by choice in a bid to be together, but have since parted ways, leaving Steel plagued with cheating allegations, something she has vehemently denied.

A wide-eyed Bird can be seen looking shell-shocked on the upcoming reunion show as he awkwardly sips on his drink, swearing to pal Jack Fincham after Steel interrupts the party mid-way in a bold sequin outfit shouting, “Merry Christmas you filthy animals.”

Posting on Instagram he wrote: “Claims that Georgia has cheated on me with our tour manager and friend Steve Lux is NOT true.

“It involves her ex.”

The comments come after Steel hit back at reports hinting at an affair with West.

She told fans: “The story of myself being linked with Steven West. This is laughable.

"He is my tour manager who drives me to all my PAs. Nothing more.”

Show champions Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham recently made headlines after they split for a short period following a spat before rekindling their romance.

Love Island: The Christmas Reunion is on ITV2, Monday at 9pm
