I’m A Celebrity 2017 winner Georgia Toffolo will reportedly be forced to give 30% of earnings from any ‘paid appearances, contracts and endorsements’ to ITV for 45 days after the end of the show.

According a report in The Mail on Sunday, the standard contract contestants sign when agreeing to appear on the show entitles its broadcaster to take a cut of the winner’s takings after the show.

The publication also alleges that a clause in the contract allows ITV to ‘pore over [Toff’s] books’.

Made in Chelsea castmember Toffolo was said to be one of the lowest-paid celebrities in this year’s jungle series, earning just £13,000, but is tipped to make several million pounds in endorsement deals and TV opportunities following her win.

Speaking after her return from the Australian Outback, Toffolo said she would put her earnings towards her rent, after revealing she hadn’t paid it before entering the jungle.

Speaking to Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain, she said: “The last thing I said to my mum when I came out was, ‘Mum, I haven’t paid my rent.’”

She also told the breakfast hosts she would like to try her hand at presenting, commenting: “I want to do what you guys do — I want to try it. But who knows?”

But other reports have suggested the star – who struck up a friendship with former MP Stanley Johnson in the I’m A Celeb camp – is being lined up for a job in politics.

A Conservative party source told the Daily Star that Toff could be the “young, vibrant face of the future”.

Adding: “She has the full package – intellect, charm, looks.”
