Honey G was accosted live on stage following her performance on The X Factor.

Cameras dramatically cut away from the action on Saturday night as three members of the audience jumped on stage and attempted to grab the rapper.

While Louis Walsh was giving his verdict of the wannabe’s star’s rendition of Can’t Touch This, Simon Cowell was seen jumping from his seat and dashing up onto the stage.

While viewers weren’t able to see what was going on, all of the judges could be seen getting up as security guards rushed in.

Honey G - real name Anna Gliford - insisted that she was ‘fine’ following the incident and said she was keen to carry on with the show.

“I thought that was part of the act,” said Cowell as he sat down. “This is what you do, you make people go a little bit crazy.

“Forget that, you’ve got a second song, come back believing you are a star,” he added.

Host Dermot O’Leary told the audience: “Three punks just came up here and thought they could take on Honey G."

“You either love or hate her. Your entitled to your opinion, 1 thing you don't do is try and harm a women. Bang out of order #XFactor #honeyg,” wrote one viewer on Twitter.

“Random guy runs on to take #HoneyG out - Louis talks. Simon tries to save her like a Die Hard movie and everyone else cheers :p #XFactor,” someone else posted.
