Gemma Collins soothed the shock of falling flat on her face on live television with “six large brandies” and a curry.

The reality star went straight from the studio to eat out in Essex with her boyfriend James "Arg" Argent and her family after Sunday night's live show.

Collins proved that she was still shaken by her spectacular stumble, turning to alcohol to calm her nerves as she sat with ice on her knees.

Arg shared a video on his Instagram story in which he says: “Celebratory curry for the GC! She’s got ice on her knees. Cheers everyone, team Gemma.”

Collins added: “I’m on the brandies. I’ve had about six large brandies for the pain.”

Videos and snaps posted on Arg’s social media and Collins’ own accounts showed ice packs on her knees to bring down the swelling ahead of another week of training.

Hours earlier, Arg had been left fearing his TOWIE-legend girlfriend was “unconscious” or had “lost teeth” after she face-planted the floor during her skate with Matt Evers.

The reality TV star had managed to execute her routine to Celine Dion’s It’s All Coming Back To Me perfectly, but was left fighting back tears after a last-minute tumble.

However, she managed her best score of the series so far with 16.5 and sailed through the public vote to next week.
