Gemma Collins gets trapped in boat as she re-enacts Titanic scene on Good Morning Britain

The GC accidentally stole the show once again

Accident-prone Gemma Collins suffered an unfortunate gaffe as she re-enacted an iconic moment from Titanic on Good Morning Britain.

The reality star joined hosts Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard to reveal James Cracknell as the latest star to join Strictly Come Dancing 2019 on today's edition of the ITV breakfast show.

While her initial announcement, which saw the former Dancing on Ice contestant spin Cracknell around in a glitterball-shaped chair, went without a glitch, things quickly went off the rails when the GC and the Olympic medallist got in a boat to recreate the famous "I'm flying!" scene from the 1997 film.

Collins held our her arms and swayed in time to Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On while Cracknell held her around her waist, until he was summoned over to Garraway and Shephard for his interview.

As he made his way over to his seat, the camera panned back to Collins, who appeared to have become stuck in the boat.

"Wait for someone to help you, Gemma, is the key! These props are not built properly," Garraway advised as the former TOWIE star burst out laughing at her mishap.

"I've fallen out the boat!" she shouted, before letting out a scream. A member of production staff then appeared to help her out.

"Someone hold on to the GC!" Shephard said as she was led away from the offending prop.

In an interview later in the show, the self-styled diva appeared to reunite her feud with Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner as she discussed recent rumours that he will not return to the contest next year.

The pair famously did not get on during Collins' stint on the show earlier this year, after she claimed that he had "bullied" her, and had a verbal spat live on air following one of her performances.

When asked for her thoughts on the reports, Collins did not hold back, telling Garraway: "Hallelujah! Let's be fair, he only works twice a year in TV. I think he does Dancing on Ice and panto.

"Would we miss him this year? Hell no!"

She added: "With me, people are probably watching this and thinking 'she's a bit strong,' but you can criticise someone but you don't have to get personal.

"Criticise me all day long, but don't get personal especially with mental health and bullying and stuff now."

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
