Danny Dyer may be in charge of the Queen Vic – but he might soon be running the UK.

Fans of the EastEnders hard man are calling for him to run for prime minister after his “inspirational” speech on Brexit.

Dyer, 40, got political with Piers Morgan as he joined the TV presenter on Good Evening Britain – a one off special of ITV flagship breakfast show Good Morning Britain.

Addressing Brexit he said: “No one has got a f****** clue what Brexit is, yeah. You watch Question Time, it’s comedy.

“No one knows what it is, it’s like this mad riddle. No one knows what it is, right.”

Dyer turned his attention to former prime minister David Cameron, slating him for stepping down ahead of Brexit negotiations.

“How come he can scuttle off? He called this on,” he said.

“Where is the geezer? I think he should be held accountable for it.”

Viewers were in awe of Dyer’s outspokenness and called for Theresa May to step down.

One fan tweeted: “I’d vote for Danny Dyer #MrDDyer for PM after his inspirational political analysis on #GoodEveningBritain #GEB.”

Another wrote: “Danny Dyer has said exactly what the rest of us have been thinking Theresa May just hand it over to Dyer here. We’ll actually get somewhere #DannyDyer.”

Dyer, who was joined by fellow guests Pamela Anderson and Jeremy Corbyn, also discussed his daughter Dani’s appearance on Love Island.

The actor received a grovelling apology from Morgan who has spent the last few weeks slating the show and branding the contestants “half wits”.

Hitting back at Morgan’s criticism, Dyer said: “All I can speak for is my daughter. They’re not all stupid. One of them is an A&E Doctor. It was her decision.

"She's a grown adult, she's a smart kid and I've always believed you don't teach them what to think, you teach them how to think.

“She hasn't put a foot wrong ... me and my wife are like parents of the year."
